i could use some advice

i don't expect to many replies but i have been at my job for over 13 years the pay is not what it should be. i have prayed but maybe not enough to be honest with you. so, i'm torn between asking for huge raise ,looking for a better paying job , quit with out having a nothing really to fall back on or staying put and wait for a sign on what i should do.(yes i'm being a bit sarcastic) .may be i should have posted this in the job section of the forum oh well .
